We had rain this morning and a morning at home. Shirley, Jennifer and Rosemary played Euro Monopoly. The currency is Euros and the one Euros are plastic coins. The streets are replaced by cities or towns around Europe, for example, Berlin and Paris.

In the afternoon we visited 't Geertje near Zoetewoude. It is a boerderij / farm open to the public, and even Crown Prince of Netherlands and his wife take their children here to visit the animals. We saw a nest high up on a platform on top of a telephone pole, with two storks. The dutch are providing nesting places for storks to encourage their numbers to increase.

We bought an ice cream cone from the little cafe/restaurant and there is also a small shop selling preserves, different flours, cheeses, clogs, honey and souvenirs.

After a few purchases, we headed home for dinner and watched 'The Matrix'.
